The last month

I´m finally able to connect calmly to a computer to start writting about the last month as a backpacker through Europe. I´m currently in Las Palmas de Gran Canarias in Spain where my friend Manuela lives (another one of my friends from the German school in Medellin) and I have some time to sit down and write and post pictures.
Words cannot really describe how amazing this adventure of traveling by myself during the last month has been and all the fascinating and interesting things I have seen and experienced. From the snow-covered mountains of the ski stations in Lleida and Baquiera in Spain to the volcanos in Lanzarote (one of the Canary Islands in Spain), from the snowy days in Ljubljana (Slovenia) to the "Calima" (Saharan Air Layer) I was a witness of in Lanzarote, from the cold and rainy days in Warsaw (Poland) to the warm and sunny days in Seville (Spain), from sleeping at the Intercontinental Hotel in Budapest to sleeping on some chairs on the ferry to Bari, from having a fancy 3 course meal and excellent wine at a fancy restaurant in Budapest to eating a home-cooked italian meal made by my Italian friend´s mother or eating a supermarket meal, from crying at the airport after seeing Manu for the first time in 12 years to laughing out loud more than once throughout this trip...I have experienced it all.
But enough of bla bla bla...Let´s get down to business and let me start by the beginning: March 6. The day I arrived in Barcelona.
